Rotate the power meter to re-awaken it and ensure the power meter is paired/connected to your head unit and re-attempt the zero reset.
Simply attempt zero reset again. If the code remains after several attempts please contact Stages Cycling- Technical Support.
Power meter crank not in proper position (straight down); see figure below.
Proper position for calibration:
Note: If you are getting the Error 32 message when the crank is positioned vertically, please remove the battery for 10 seconds and re-insert it to reset the unit, and try the calibration again.
If you receive an error in the StagesApp while calibrating, please take a screenshot or note the error that occurs. You may need to reset the unit and attempt calibration again, but if you are unable to resolve this error, please create a new support with Stages Cycling informing us of the stated error for the next step.
For position-based errors, please see the above diagram for the correct crank position.
StagesPower Android App Calibration Failure
Non-Responsive Zero Reset
A LR power meter will only zero reset if both sides are present. One side may need a new battery if this non-result is present. If using either Left or Right power meter separately, they must be unlinked via Stages Power App.
- Open the Stages Power app on your compatible mobile device.
- Select the left and right side power meters from the discoverable devices list and then hit Connect.
- From the main screen, select Pair Tools, then select Link to connect the two sensors.
Note: Once two meters are linked as a LR unit, only the left power meter’s ANT+ ID will be visible when searching for new sensors. Only the left needs to be paired to your head unit.
- To use the power meters separately, repeat this process and select Unlink from the tools page of the app.
